Scotty McCreery Talks about his faith In God, shares recent “God Thing” and closes with the Bible verse during his Hometown Visit.
During his recent homecoming in Garner, North Carolina on May 14, 2011 American Idol contestant Scotty McCreery talks about how important his Christian faith is and how it helps him get through the busy weeks of competition.
He also performs a duet with country star Josh Turner, who surprises him while Scotty is singing Turner’s song “Your Man”.
Both Scotty and Josh perform a duet of Josh Turner’s Christian song “Long Black Train” at 9:38 in the video below. Scotty did receive highest remarks from judges when he praised the Lord performing this this song in-front of world-wide TV audience.
“This man has been around, he is is my hero. Honestly, he lives his life as a Christian man in Nashville Tennessee. (Others) talking (in theirs songs) about drinking and staff , this man stays clean.
